I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). My therapeutic work draws on 20 years of practical experience in facilitation and creating creative healing environments and liberation-based healing practices. I studied Clinical Practice at the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College & was selected to be part of the Diversity in Social Work program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have a mixed, modal liberation-based healing approach with training in somatics, DBT, MB-CBT and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I founded Liberation-Based Therapy LCSW to serve the community but to also provide support to clinicians that want to incorporate critical consciousness more actively into their therapeutic work.
